Books to Binge Read After Reading Edenbrooke

lakeshire park booklakeshire park book

Lakeshire Park by Megan Walker
I listened to this one and it was an absolute delight. Amelia and her sister face abject poverty as soon as their stepfather dies and Amelia is hopeful that before that happens, she can secure a marriage between her sister and a wealthy gentleman – Sir Ronald – her sister has shown some interest in. Fortunately, they’re invited to a house party at Sir Ronald’s house and it looks like things for the sisters. Until Amelia discovers that one of the other guests, Peter Wood, is hoping to help HIS sister make a match with Sir Ronald. And when Amelia finds attraction blooming for Peter, things are going to get even more tricky.

Daddy Long Legs by Jean Webster
In this delightful novel, eighteen-year-old Jerusha, “Judy”, grows up in an orphanage. When a mysterious millionaire begins to pay for her college education, she cannot believe her luck! Who was this mysterious gentleman and would Jerusha ever get to meet him?

These Is My Words by Nancy E. Turner
I read this book YEARS ago after my mom raved about it and sent me a copy. She wasn’t wrong – this historical romance is written in diary form (a format I generally don’t care for but works wonderfully here) and follows Sarah Prine and her family in the Arizona Territories where pretty much every bad thing you can imagine happens until they join up with a wagon train. The leader of the wagon train is Captain Elliot and Sarah by turns admires him and despises him. Of course she does. I LOVED this book. (Full review here)

To Charm a Lady by Joanna Barker
You know those books where you just immediately want to spend EVERY WAKING MOMENT reading that book? This book was that for me! It is the 2nd book in this regency romance series, but it completely stands alone. While attending a house party, Cora is is under strict instructions by her mother to find a husband, but will she pursue a man her mother would approve of, or a longtime crush she has never gotten over.

Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion by Beth Brower
When Emma M. Lion returns home to her London neighborhood, she only has one thing on her mind – take back possession of her rightful home from her cousin Archibald. You better believe Archibald isn’t going anywhere without a fight. In true Emma M. Lion fashion, she chronicles the ins and outs of her increasingly hilarious and frustrating life. I am completely OBSESSED with this series!

the luxe bookthe luxe book

The Luxe by Anna Godbersen
Romance, intrigue, and class warfare – what’s there not to like? Set at the turn of the twentieth century in New York City, The Luxe begins with Elizabeth Holland’s funeral. She’s the daughter of a high society family and this is supposed to be her wedding day to one New York’s most eligible bachelors. The book introduces the main characters present at the funeral and then rewinds two weeks to show the events leading up to the funeral. It’s full of twists and turns, both big and small, and I loved every second of this story told from the point of view of five characters. The Luxe is the first in the series of four and I devoured all of them.

Seeking Persephone by Sarah M. Eden
This one has everything that I love in a romance – it’s swoony, Regency-era, and has a Beauty and the Beast feel!  When a sweet, stubborn heroine marries a grumpy, emotionally scarred duke to save her family – she sets out to melt the ice around his heart. It’s cute and a quick listen!

When the Day Comes by Gabrielle Meyer
In this time travel book, Libby is given the gift to go to sleep in one time period, and wake up in another time period without any time having passed. She splits her time between 1774 Colonial Williamsburg and the other in 1914 Gilded Age New York City. She lives a very different life in each, but there comes a time when she must make a very important decision about which time period she will stay in forever.

A Heart Worth Stealing by Joanna Barker
This one is such a delight to read. After her father’s passing, Ginny is devastated when his treasured pocket watch goes missing. When she hires a special investigator, Jack Travers, to help find the watch, he discovers there is more going on than just a missing watch. As Ginny and Jack work together, of course, there will be romance. This is a fantastic story with snappy dialogue like you would find in Edenbrooke.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
