No Ordinary Time: Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt: The Home Front in World War II by Doris Kearns Goodwin – ebook – $3.99
I never like to read abridged versions of anything, but I made an exception in this case because the abridged version is read by Edward Herrmann (he’s the grandpa in Gilmore Girls and also reads the audio versions of both Unbroken and The Boys in the Boat). Basically, if he reads it, I want to listen to it. Although, I’m almost done with it and I think I want to go back and listen to the full version which is 39 hours instead of 6. It was obviously abridged a LOT.

Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend – audiobook – $3.99

This is a money book like no other. It’s been such a fascinating and useful way to think about how I spend my life and what I want out of the money I make. It feels like one of those books that almost everyone would get something out of!

The Little Book of Hygge, sets out to explore the Danish phenomenon ‘hygge’ – what it is and how you can achieve it in your own life. It’s written by Meik Wiking, the CEO of the Happiness Research Institute in Copenhagen, a person who knows about hygge very well.

Henry and Beezus by Beverly Cleary – audiobook – $4.99
In our family, the Beverly Cleary books definitely in our top 5 (especially on audio). We’ve read many of them together, and my girls love reading and listening on their own. And I just love Henry Huggins. (Plus, this one is a Libro.FM deal so you can use it to make a Yoto card!)
